The Scaling Up Implementation Program

An operating system for a valuable construction company

Scaling Up is the business operating system used by tens of thousands of growth companies worldwide. This program implements it inside your construction company — with your leadership team, on your jobs, with enterprise value as the scoreboard.

The Framework

Four decisions decide
what your company is worth

Every driver on the Readiness Scorecard rolls up to one of these four. Get them right and the business gets easier to run — and worth more to own.

Decision 01

People

The right leaders in the right seats, accountable for the right things — so the company doesn't need you in every meeting. Owner independence starts here.

Decision 02

Strategy

A one-page plan your whole team can say out loud: who you serve, what makes you different, and where the company is going. Differentiation a buyer can't easily replicate.

Decision 03

Execution

Documented processes, meeting rhythms, and scoreboards that make performance repeatable — estimating, project management, safety, client communication. Systems, not heroics.

Decision 04

Cash

Revenue is Vanity, Profit is Sanity, and Cash is King. We work the cash conversion cycle so growth feeds the company instead of starving it.

The Tools

What we actually
work on together

One-Page Strategic PlanYour whole strategy on one page — vision to quarterly priorities, visible to the whole leadership team.
Quarterly RocksThe 3–5 priorities that matter most this quarter, owned by name, reviewed on a rhythm.
Accountability ChartWho owns what function — and where the gaps are that keep pulling you back in.
Rockefeller Habits ChecklistThe execution disciplines, installed one habit at a time — not all at once.
KPI ScoreboardsThe handful of numbers your leadership team watches weekly — so decisions happen without you.
Cash Conversion CycleWhere your cash hides — receivables, retainage, WIP — and the levers that free it.

How It Runs

Built around your team's rhythm

Every engagement starts the same way: the free Value Snapshot Call. We look at your value drivers, agree on the 3–5 moves that matter, and decide together whether deeper work makes sense.

From there, the standard rhythm is quarterly planning sessions with your leadership team, driven by weekly executive meetings in between — that's where the tools above get installed and the priorities actually get done. It's a standard, not a straitjacket: some owners run every piece, some don't want that many meetings. We fit the rhythm to how your company actually runs. Either way, it's implementation, not a seminar: your real org chart, your real jobs, your real cash.

And because of how we work, your team hears "stronger, more independent, more valuable company" — never "getting ready to sell."

First Step

Start with the score, not the contract

Take the Readiness Scorecard, bring your three weakest drivers to a free Value Snapshot Call, and leave with next moves — whether we ever work together or not.
